As a Roofer Helper/Apprentice, you will assist skilled roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs on various types of properties. This role is ideal for individuals who are interested in learning the fundamentals of roofing and gaining practical experience while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will participate in daily tasks that contribute to the success of roofing projects, from preparing materials to cleaning up the worksite.

Responsibilities

• Assist roofing crews with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial roofs.

• Help with the removal of old roofing materials, preparing surfaces for new installation.

• Transport and organize roofing materials and tools to job sites.

• Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, and underlayment.

• Participate in the safe handling of equipment and materials, ensuring that worksite safety standards are followed.

• Help with the installation of roofing systems including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and waterproofing.
